Fraser Dental Re-opening
When you come to the practice things will look a little different.
For your safety we need to work on the assumption that you are an asymptomatic carrier of Covid 19. Our high standards are there to protect our team, patients and your loved ones.
Patients will be contacted the day before their appointment to be advised of new safety protocols
A form must be completed over the phone before arriving for your appointment. We will ask you COVID-19 screening questions.
Please note that all members off staff complete a screening process on a daily basis and have their temperature taken on arrival at the practice.
Please attend alone unless you are accompanying a child or you are a carer, please do not bring extra children and family members. If you are accompanying a patient, we will ask you to wear a mask, this we will provide for you on entering the practice.
Please do not bring a coat or bag (If you choose to bring any personal items you will be asked to store them in one of our sanitised boxes with lids on entering the surgery).
Bathroom facilities are not available at this point in time, please plan for this in advance.
Payments for your dental treatment will only be accepted by debit/credit card. Please note we cannot accept any payment by cheque.
Please respect Social Distancing measures we have put into place at the practice.
Upon arrival at the practice please call us on 0121 454 2413 to inform us that you have arrived. Please wait in your car and await further contact and instructions from us.
When the dentist is ready to see you for your appointment reception will ring you and ask you to come to the front door of the practice. Here you will be met by our Practice Manager who will ask you to sanitise your hands and take your temperature contactlessly.
If your temperature is normal you will be escorted straight to the surgery where the dentist and nurse will be in full PPE.
If you have a temperature of 37.8 C or higher you will be asked to return home and arrange a COVID-19 test and self-isolate for 2 weeks.
When you are leaving the surgery you will be asked to sanitise your hands once again.
Your safety is of paramount importance to us. Our priority is to make your experience at our practice a pleasant one. We hope that by following this patient journey during the pandemic, we can continue to care for your dental health in the way that we used to.
